RNL Partners Succeed on #GivingTuesday 2020
Since 2012, #GivingTuesday has had a massive impact on the holiday giving season. This year’s event, coming during the global pandemic and an incredible level of charitable need, will set a record. #GivingTuesday 2020 reports that giving increased by 25 percent, with over $503M in online donations in the U.S. alone.
More than 120 RNL partners participated in #GivingTuesday utilizing the RNL ScaleFunder platform, and here are the stats:
- $9,042,150 Total Dollars Raised
- 31,856 Transactions, 29,864 Online and 1,992 Offline
- $5,309,783 Online and $3,732,367 Offline
- Average Online Gift: $178
We saw a 33 percent increase in the average online gift and big growth in the integration of offline efforts—almost 50 percent more this year. A key component of RNL Digital Giving is integration with offline efforts so partners can post gifts of all sources to a campaign page and build excitement. This includes integrating your major gift efforts for matches and challenges, and even integrating calling and texting campaigns. RNL ScaleFunder partners can raise as much as they want with no additional cost, and building excitement across your donor contact channels is easy.
