70% of community college students say they would re-enroll at their institutions

In Noel-Levitz’s 2010 National Student Satisfaction and Priorities Report executive summary, college students were asked to rate their overall satisfaction with their institution and if they would re-enroll if they were given the opportunity to do so.

Community college students ranked highest in both satisfaction and likelihood of re-enrollment, with 60% of students saying that they were satisfied or very satisfied and 70 percent saying that if they had to do it over again they would probably or definitely re-enroll.

These figures topped those of four-year private and public institutions. Students from both types of four-year institutions responded that they were satisfied or very satisfied 55 percent of the time. Four-year public students indicated that they would probably or definitely re-enroll 61 percent of the time, while private school students only said so 58 percent of the time.

Finally, 52 percent of career and private school students said both that they were satisfied or very satisfied and that they would probably or definitely re-enroll.
