Partnership focuses on WC's aggressive goals for student enrollment
July 14, 2017: Parents are a driving force in the development of our personal and professional lives. This dynamic was no different for Dennis Kelly, special assistant to the president and vice president for enrollment management at Wilmington College (Ohio).
Not only did his mother tell Dennis at an early age about the importance of education, she encouraged him to earn a college degree and marry a college-educated woman. It was through this encouragement that he successfully navigated his own education and career and came to understand that having the right people and partners on your side makes all of the difference in the outcomes you achieve.
Wilmington College has called upon Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) to increase the number and quality of students enrolling through the use of RNL’s Building Demand and Cultivating Applicants solutions. The college sees the partnership with RNL as a critical component in taking Wilmington College to the next level in its enrollment sophistication and success.
Why RNL? According to Kelly, RNL has the same critical characteristics that he looks for in his own staff members. He refers to these characteristics as the “ABCs of Success.” “A” is using accurate data to inform all strategies and decisions, B is building success through experience, with “C” being the most important, creating an enrollment culture across campus. As a past winner of two RNL excellence awards, one for recruitment/marketing excellence at Marywood University (2006) and the second for retention excellence at Georgian Court University (2010), Kelly understands the importance of instilling these foundational approaches and choosing a partner that shares these values. Kelly is the only vice president to be awarded each award.
“Wilmington College wanted to consolidate their recruitment and retention service using one partner,” said Kelly. “I have witnessed firsthand how RNL has delivered at each institution I previously served and provided a solid professional partnership with the enrollment teams I once led. My current team of EM at Wilmington College looks forward to this new partnership. Onward!”
RNL is pleased to welcome Dennis Kelly and Wilmington College to Ruffalo Noel Levitz, the leading provider of technology-enabled services, software, and consulting for higher education enrollment management and fundraising. The partnership will focus on Wilmington College’s aggressive goals for student enrollment, capitalizing on RNL’s innovative technologies, research, data, and insights.
