Annual event to be held April 16-17 in New Orleans
March 19, 2018—Ruffalo Noel Levitz, leading provider of higher education enrollment, student success, and fundraising solutions, has announced the full agenda for its annual Symposium on the Recruitment and Retention of Diverse Populations. This event includes research and workshops on ways colleges and universities can increase the diversity in their incoming classes and help more of those students achieve their educational goals.
Two nationally renowned speakers on diversity and inclusion will serve as keynote speakers. Dr. Damon A. Williams—one of the top experts in strategic diversity leadership, youth development, corporate responsibility, and organizational change—will open the event with “Voice, Choice, Access, and Passion: Preparing the Centennial Generation for a Connected Economy Workforce.” Dr. Steve L. Robbins, who has worked with businesses and organizations nationwide as a speaker and organizational diversity trainer, will speak on the science-based benefits of creating inclusive workplaces during his session, “Your Brain Is Good at Inclusion…Except When It’s Not.”
The day-and-a-half symposium will feature 20 interative sessions exploring the latest innovations, research, and strategies for increasing diversity in college enrollment management, including:
