Katherine Cooper brings a decade of financial aid experience to her position as a Ruffalo Noel Levitz senior consultant. She offers expertise in strategic financial aid management, including federal and state funding, financial office management, award packaging, and award communication.
Previous campus experience
Ms. Cooper served as the director of Student Financial Services at Randolph College in Virginia (formerly Randolph-Macon Woman’s College). In that role, she allocated financial aid funds, assigned endowed scholarships, and administered federal and state funds. Ms. Cooper also aligned the mission and goals of Student Financial Services with those of the college and completed all federal, state, and institutional reporting. Prior to that position, she served as the associate director of the Office of Financial Planning and Assistance at the college, administering student loan programs, federal Pell Grants, and overseeing award packaging. Before coming to Randolph College, Ms. Cooper served as a financial aid advisor at Lynchburg College (VA).

Ms. Cooper is a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Lynchburg College.
