Brandi Phillips, executive consultant for student success solutions, works closely with colleges and universities to promote and support student success initiatives. In particular, Brandi provides guidance and support in using the College Student Inventory â„¢, the Mid-Year Student Assessmentâ„¢, and the Second-Year Student Assessmentâ„¢. Offering a wide range of experiences, Brandi has worked with traditional and nontraditional students in academic advising, career development, first-year programming, and student engagement.
Previously, Brandi served as associate director of First-Year Seminar (FYS) at Greensboro College (NC). Under her leadership, the revised FYS program achieved a 90 percent persistence rate for FYS-enrolled students from fall 2012 to spring 2013 (increased from 79 percent the previous year).
Associations and education
Brandi is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). She holds a BA in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
