Betsy Morrison has more than 20 years of higher education experience in the area of enrollment management. She joined RNL in the role of campus relations and business development. She was responsible for engaging campus leadership to discuss current institutional challenges, conducting research and providing product-based webinars, in addition to facilitating client trainings. Betsy transitioned to client development to analyze product performance to ensure client needs and expectations were properly met, while continuing to engage with clients to develop strategies to meet institutional goals. As a result of this work, Betsy identified opportunities for increased enrollment and retention at partner institutions, as well as strengthened the partnership between RNL and the institution.
In 2018, she started work as the director of outreach at ZeeMee, recognized by CNBC as, “One of the Top 25 Startups to Watch for 2018.” During her tenure, she generated sales growth and revenue in her territory while working with product and engineering teams to develop new product capabilities.
In January of 2019, Betsy returned to RNL as the vice president of strategic partnerships. In this role, she has the privilege of working alongside platform partners to expand RNL’s strategic support to partner institutions and nonprofits in undergraduate enrollment, graduate and Online enrollment, student success and fundraising. She collaborates with RNL colleagues and platform partner leadership to develop an individualized sales strategy that best fits the needs of the client.
Previous Experience
She began her admissions career at her alma mater, Wartburg College (IA) where she worked in various roles within the admissions office for nearly a decade. After moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan, Betsy worked at Ross Medical Education Center where she led a team of admissions representatives, financial aid coordinators, current students, instructors, and career development coordinators.
