Steve Alesio has a long career as an operating executive initially in leading roles in a couple of well-branded, successful companies, followed by leveraging those skills for private equity over the past decade. Since 2018, Steve has been:
- Board Chairman of 4 private equity companies
- Former Director, CDW Technology which has had a very successful run as a public company over the last 7 years (7.7 MoM), and
- Director of Artius Capital (SPAC), focused on fintech space (funded in 2020)
From 2011 to 2017, Steve was an operating partner at Providence Equity Partners, working in their education and training sector with a couple of notable and highly successful exits. From 2001 to 2010 he was at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and was chairman of the board and CEO from 2005 until 2010. Steve also spent 19 years with the American Express Company, where he served in various marketing and division management roles.
Steve is also the founding sponsor of two non-profit organizations in Newark, NJ focused on the development of inner-city youth.
